Met some new friends over there, learned a bit of night clubs and night outs in zhongli (thanks to the sake and whisky ?). We probably the loudest people over there ?.
Need to book ahead, one of the best at ZhongLi.
Fresh and tasty seafood.
Special selections of sake.
Very friendly staff (not easy to get them drunk.)
NTD 1680-2280pp for dinner (excluding drinks) ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is situated in an alley, you have prebook for your seats as the restaurant is small can accomdate about 20 customers at once, but the entire atmosphere and decoration makes one feel you are somewhere in Japan. They have various set menus one can choose, tonight we ordered the special set menu cost about NTD 2300, where most of the fish were imported and airfreighted from Japan to Taiwan. The Master Chef has explained each dish to us in terms of its origin and type of fish and how we supoose to eat it. Wonderful experience, and we have received VIP treatment during this dinner. Everyone should try this restaurant out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly and attentive staff! Most food done in front of you! No privacy table as everyone sits together on a bar style ! Food is fresh! Reservations definitely needed! Price wise is on higher side! Public parking nearby! A little bit difficult to find on first time!

This place is very popular and requires booking ahead. They only do 2-3 rounds of people per day. Each time around 10 people for 2 hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ High rating Sushi restaurant with only Omakase set. I’m not sure what happened before. But I’m sure it was not a pleasant experience for me and my friend. For their sashimi, there was fishbone in it. They did tried to compensate with a replacement, but still not acceptable for a “professional” place. For their SUSHI, disappoint is the only answer. Their Uni has a strange potion taste, and THE MOST important rice part was sticky and stuck together. Not a Sushi for me. Still, there were some dishes quite ok, like their steamed rice, but not worth the price. Overall, if you are simply looking for a nice decorated place for Japanese food with numbers of different dishes, it’s a back up option. But if you looking Sushi, like what they explicitly put it on their Shop name. Sorry, not recommended. 2 stars means No Go.
BTW, I tried to give them feedback when I finished the meal, but sorry, they don’t event have a Chef or manager to accept it. Better not expect too much if you wanna try.
