圓光佛學院校本部天王殿

The Temple of Heaven is located at the main campus of Yuanguang Buddhist Academy. It is one of the temples of Zhongli Yuanguang Temple that was just completed this year (2018.3.28 and the neighboring Honghua Hall were opened together). The four corners of the temple are dedicated to the four heavenly kings of Buddhism. , Including the Eastern Jiguo Heavenly King, Southern Growth Heavenly King, Western Guangmu Heavenly King, and Northern Duowen Heavenly King statues, majestic and awe-inspiring. There are also sculptures of various statues of Guanyin Bodhisattva (should be the thirty-three Guanyin) in the hall. All the images of Guanyin Bodhisattva are presented on a piece of natural wood in the form of carvings. The color and position of each piece of wood are used to arrange the treasures of the Bodhisattva in a patchwork. It is a rare wood carving work that is worthy of visitors to appreciate.

In the 37th year of the Republic of China, after the liberation, the old monk Miaoguo founded the earliest Buddhist college in the province-"Taiwan Buddhist College" in Yuanguang Temple, and hired the high monk at the time in Sihang, Venerable Ci Hang, to preside over the affairs of the institute.
