中科院中正堂,裡面空間很大,適合辦活動,另外,中科院主要業務如下: (一)國防科技及主要武器裝備之研究發展、生產製造及銷售: 1.研發國軍必要武器裝備與關鍵技術能量,提升國防科技研發水準,建構自主國防力量。 2.挹注前瞻科技研究,以發展基礎、應用技術及系統研發所需關鍵技術,厚實未來武器系統發展之基礎。 3.導入企業化管理,強化組織效能,增加人事及採購作業彈性與執行效率,縮短系統開發期程,及時滿足國軍作戰需求。 (二)軍民通用科技之研究發展、生產製造及銷售: 1.發展前瞻軍民通用科技,扮演產業領航先鋒配合政府振興經濟及提升產業競爭力之政策,以國防科技研發能量為基礎,以產業需求為導向,發展前瞻軍民通用科技,創造產業價值。 2.推動以軍民通用科技發展為特色之國防產業聚落建構「軍轉民、民通軍」雙向交流渠道,形成國防科技產業聚落,進而提升國家整體經濟之發展,以達「強化自主國防」及「發達國家經濟」,創造軍民雙效價值之任務。 (三)國內外科技之合作、資訊交流及推廣: 1.國內科技學術合作計畫: 結合國軍十年建軍構想各項建軍備戰及研發需求,及各項武器系統關鍵技術開發所需奠基技術,藉由學合計畫,委請國內大專院校及經科技部認可之學術研究機構進行「基礎研究」及「應用研究」,從基本應用研究至重大技術挑戰,期能滿足建軍備戰需求。 2.加強國際合作: 軍事科技之國際化潮流所趨,以縮短研發時程、減少成本及提高品質等為目標,以彈性運用資源、共同承擔風險;藉由國際合作模式,不僅可拓展研發人員視野,推動前瞻國防科技,並可因參與國際合作經驗,促成本院國際化。 (四)國內外科技之技術移轉、技術服務及產業服務: 1.轉化國防科技能量,創造民間產業價值: 透過系統整合及前瞻高科技之核心技術開發能量,以掌握科技發展趨勢,結合技術移轉、技術服務及產業服務,協助產業補充面臨升級與轉型所需的產業技術缺口。 2.聯合全國科技研發力量,建立軍通科技發展體系: 運用多年累積之國防研發能量與系統整合經驗,發揮國防產業統合與樞紐的角色,將國防產業廠商從研發到生產的流程加以鏈結,從聚落拉到群聚,發展國防產業鏈,建立軍通科技發展體系。 (五)國防科技人才之培育: 秉「為用而育、計畫培養、預劃派職」之宗旨,建構未來國防科技優質人才及永續經營與發展能量。 (六)重要國防軍事設施工程: 接受委託承接國防部辦理機敏性及與武器系統運作有關之國防軍事設施工程建構。協助軍種進行軍事設施需求工址現勘及工程可行性評估,並接受軍種委託軍事設施籌獲管制、設計規劃及建構。 (七)配合國防部重大演訓及戰備急需之事項: 依年度戰備演訓需求,配合執行國軍重大演訓及戰備急需之事項,以達成國防與科技合一,發揮整體國防戰力。 (八)其他與本院設立目的相關之事項。
