★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 建於CE 1927年，日治昭和初期合院建築。道東堂建築採台洋混合樣式，將傳統三合院與西洋式拱券造型結合，裝飾方面亦兼有傳統彩繪、剪黏、交趾陶與近代磨石子、彩瓷面磚等，在一座宅第中集合中、西樣式與裝飾技法，為桃園地區極具特色的近代三合院作品。屋脊上的日治時代碗片剪黏非常精美、堪稱國寶。
Built in CE 1927, it was a courtyard building in the early period of Japan's Showa era. The architecture of Daodongtang adopts a mix of Taiwan and Western styles, combining the traditional three-in-one courtyard with the Western-style arch voucher shape. The decoration also includes traditional painting, cut and glue, Cochin pottery and modern grindstones, colored porcelain tiles, etc., gathered in a mansion, The western style and decoration techniques are the works of modern courtyard houses with unique characteristics in Taoyuan area. The Japanese Occupation Era bowl slices on the roof are very delicately cut and can be called a national treasure.
