★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新屋天后宮，主祀天上聖母媽祖，協祀千里眼與順風耳，配祀有註生娘娘、觀世音菩薩、中壇元帥與福德正神等，天后宮係1826年（道光6年）由北港朝天宮分香奉祀，1878年（光緒4年）創建。建廟土地為黃吳水等30人募穀30石及3甲田而來，支持建廟的地方大姓有黃姓、李姓、王姓等，建廟主因是由於本地濱海，渡船打魚者甚多，為祈求媽祖保佑，另又以進香北港路途遙遠，故有建廟之緣。

The land for building the temple came from Huang Wushui and other 30 people who raised 30 shi and 3 Jiatian. The local surnames who supported the building of the temple included Huang, Li, Wang, etc. The main reason for building the temple was because of the local coastal area. Many, in order to pray for the blessing of Mazu, and because of the long distance to enter the North Port of Hong Kong, it is necessary to build a temple.
