★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 協天宮供俸的主神是關聖帝君，在地的居民卻習慣稱為關平爺公廟，這是因為當地在這兩百多年來，對於主祀的關公不敢勞煩，祈求幫助對象反而是關平爺公，居民需要祈福繞境或有事相求時，就請關平爺公搭神轎外出幫助，感到不順遂就請到家中坐鎮或供奉，也因和關平爺公的互動較多，造成少見的關平爺公信仰。
而現在的協天宮大約在民國71年建成，除了保有老廟宇建築的風貌，也還有特別的文化氛圍。

The current Xietian Palace was built in about 71 years of the Republic of China. In addition to retaining the style of the old temple buildings, it also has a special cultural atmosphere.
