In 1920 (the ninth year of Taisho), the village was restructured into the characters of "Da Shulin", which belonged to Taoyuan Street, Taoyuan County, Hsinchu Prefecture. After the war, Taoyuan Street was restructured into Taoyuan Town, which belonged to Hsinchu County, and the big characters were also restructured into li. In 1950, peach, bamboo and seedlings were divided and governed, and Taoyuan Town was changed to be subordinate to Taoyuan County. In July 1971, Taoyuan Town was upgraded to Taoyuan City under the jurisdiction of the county.
