Shuibiantou is located on the edge of Hutou Mountain, where the Nankan River channel enters Nankan. When the early cultivators entered the Nankan Society, the water from the Nankan River was used to irrigate the adjacent farmland, and a sluice was set up here, hence the name Shuibiantou. Also known as wellhead or water flush history From the Qing Dynasty to the beginning of the Japanese occupation, Shuibiantou was called "Shuibiantou Village" and was governed by Taojianbao. In 1920 (the ninth year of Taisho), the Taiwan Governor's Office adjusted the administrative divisions of the whole of Taiwan, and restructured Shui Bian Tau Zhuang into "Shui Bian Tau Big Character", which was changed to Taoyuan Street, Taoyuan County. Biantou has been included in Taoyuan since then, and it has been used to this day. At that time, the big characters also had two smaller characters: "Shui Biantou" and "Xiapuzi". Scope Shuibiantou is located in the northeast of Taoyuan District. It is bordered by Nankan River and Puzi in the southwest, the west section of the north is adjacent to Nankanxia, ​​the eastern section of the north is adjacent to Nankanding, the east is Fengshukeng, and the south is Dahuixi. Compared with today's administrative regions, its scope roughly includes Bianzhouli and the northeastern part of Kuaijili. settlement The earlier settlement in this area is Shuibiantou, which has been recorded on official maps in the early days of the Japanese occupation.
