During the period of the Republic of China, when Taoyuan Town was first established, Kuaiji was established with the homophonic pronunciation of the second character after Dahuixi in Mandarin. The name Kuaiji was born and gradually replaced Dahuixi as the main local place name, but Dahuixi is still common. scope Dahuixi is located in the east-central part of Taoyuan District. The north is adjacent to Shuibiantou, the east is adjacent to Fengshukeng, the southeast is Xinlukeng, the southwest is bordered by Nankan River and Xiaohui River, and the west is also separated by Nankan River and Puzi. Compared with today's administrative regions, its scope roughly includes Kuaijili, Chunrili, Daxingli, Baoshanli, Dayouli, Sanyuanli, and Zhongyili. settlement The early settlements in this area include Maple Forest, Wanggongkeng, Dingfeng Forest, Xizhouzi, Kanzijiao, etc., which have been recorded on official maps in the early Japanese occupation period.
