Excellent service and friendly staff

I had a laser hair removal session here but ended up demanding a refund right after the treatment and left traumatised. They are incredibly unprofessional and dishonest. When I called prior to my visit, the sales representative on the phone told me follow up sessions (after their 5 course treatment) will be 2500 per extra session, but when I confronted the sales representative in person, she weasled her way out of it by pretending not to know the person I spoke to on the phone, and saying that the person "must have been mistaken". She also insisted that there is no first time price for brazilian laser even though there was a flyer on her desk listing 50% off first time prices for all other treatment areas. I purchased the course despite my reservations because they were within my budget compared to other clinics. I was already feeling hesitant when I arrived 10 minutes early to my appointment but was kept waiting 25 minutes past my appointment time explaining that they were "preparing my room" and assuring me it's so I can have a private room to myself. (as opposed to sharing a room, even though I was getting a full brazilian?) The shaving and application of the anaesthetic cream went off without a hitch (the nurse who attended me in the beginning is their one redeeming quality) but when I was brought to the dimly lit laser room, I found out I was being attended to by another doctor. The doctor came in without addressing me, and began the treatment with hardly any preparation. She never once checked if I was fine, and when she was "done" I had to ask why the back wasn't treated, before she reluctantly attended to it, again without any instruction or acknowledging me in any way, tutting impatiently when I didn't automatically lift my legs for her despite the nurse informing her it was my first treatment. After the treatment was over, the nurse applied a cream to the treated area and told me I was ready to go, but my skin was still searing hot. I was told by the sales representative before I purchased the course that they will be thorough and make sure that my skin has completely cooled down with ice packs before I left the clinic, but the nurse insisted it was not protocol to let me stay and ice the area. It wasn't until I nearly cried from the pain that she ran out and got me the ice pack. I had to stay for a full hour and used two ice packs before I had to leave. I immediately asked the sales representative to issue me a refund for my traumatising experience. She wasn't even capable of feigning concern while I explained how uncomfortable the entire experience has been and how much pain I was feeling. She still charged me the full price for the one session and an extra 100 TWD for an ice pack to take home, but I was too much in pain to argue. I ended up having to keep an ice pack between my legs from 5pm till went to sleep that night, as I felt the searing pain almost immediately if I tried removing it. Of course I will take responsibility for my own decisions based on my budget, which is a mistake I won't be making again. They weren't even that much cheaper to be worth this kind of treatment. Terrible service, terrible experience. Will never be returning even if they paid me to.
