相較於其他知名步道，大坑步道保有較多野趣，植物和昆蟲生態仍保有相對多樣，值得探訪，然展望或視野部分因雜樹蔓生，可說沒有。

Compared with other well-known trails, the Dakeng Trail retains more wild interest, and the ecology of plants and insects is still relatively diverse. It is worth visiting. However, the prospect or part of the view is not due to the overgrown trees.
