黃繼烔公墓園建於清乾隆41年(西元1776年)迄今已超過241年(一說已超過280年)，位於林口工三工業區之文明路旁，在當時工業區要開發時，由於將改為工業區用地，黃姓後代子孫緊急向有關單位求援，經過縣政府文化局派員現場勘查之後，以其為國內少見之清朝墓葬建築群(含石碑、樓閣思親亭)等完整史跡，提報為文化資產審議委員會為古蹟，而能以原狀保留至今，其中石碑亦說明早年從大陸隻身來台的黃繼烔與第二代黃世霧等在清光緒年間領導地方抗日之義舉。

Huang Jitong Cemetery was built in the 41st year of Emperor Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty (1776) and has been more than 241 years (more than 280 years). It is located on the Wenming Road in the third industrial zone of Linkou. The land was converted to industrial zone. The descendants of Huang surnamed urgently for assistance from relevant units. After on-site investigation by the County Government Cultural Bureau, they regarded it as a complete historical site such as the Qing Dynasty tomb complex (including stone tablets, pavilions and pavilions), which are rare in China. It was reported as a historical relic by the Cultural Assets Review Committee, which can be preserved in its original state. The stone stele also shows that Huang Jitong, who came to Taiwan alone from the mainland in the early years, and the second generation of Huang Shiwu, led the local anti-Japanese act during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty.
