福山巖清水祖師公,緣於清仁宗嘉慶十一年(公元1806年),由信徒楊石秀君,自福建省漳州府永定縣恭請渡台來到現在地址,大溪鎮溪洲(城仔)。 溪洲舊稱為城仔,根據老前輩口述,百餘年前漢民來台覓得溪洲時,要了與先前已到來的原住民(俗稱內山番仔),相互爭奪居住地。為防止原住民侵襲,先民在居住區域邊緣,以高層土修製護牆。為加強防護,並於外圍種植長有多刺的刺竹林,因形如城牆所以溪洲以前被稱作城仔。 由於當時的年代醫學不發達,居住溪洲地區百姓的精神,完全寄託於祖師爺公。只要有求必應,城內百姓如要外出上山工作、採藥草,都必須先請示祖師爺公,並擲茭獲三聖杯才敢外出上山工作、採藥。早期地方上居民有關甘苦病痛、挖井用水,如果沒有祖師爺公的護祐,絕對採無藥草、挖井無水。 因為神威顯赫,所以百姓自然發心供奉祖師爺公,並且香火鼎盛。於公元1917年請保正來當擔灌溉水渠長曾紅大先仔老師教漢學 四書 每位學生每個月壹斗米為學費約拾台斤 而後因內山作大水當時是沒有石門水庫 每年都會內山作大水因為西岸稱為客人港 東岸是(如今大漢溪)之所以當時在此居民對外出入交通是以水路通行。 民國廿四年(1935年)由信眾齊心將供奉祖師爺公的穀倉整修為磚瓦建築。直到民國七十一年(1982年)冬月,有感於恭奉處所簡陋,由當地士紳以及信眾組成重建委員會,並同時動土開工翻修,於次年(1983年)十月一日落成安座後殿,同時成立福山巖管理委員會。民國八十年(1991年)在福山一路路口動工興建牌樓,一年完成。民國八十三年(1994年)十月二十一日經過信眾及管理委員會討論決定動土興建拜廳。
The ancestor of Fushanyan Qingshui was born in the 11th year of Qing Renzong Jiaqing (AD 1806), and was worshipped by the believer Yang Shixiujun from Yongding County, Zhangzhou Prefecture, Fujian Province, to the present address, Xizhou (Chengzai), Daxi Town. Xizhou was formerly known as Chengzai. According to the words of the older generation, when Han people came to Taiwan to find Xizhou more than a hundred years ago, they had to compete with the aboriginal people who had previously arrived (commonly known as Neishan Fanzai) for a place of residence. In order to prevent the invasion of the indigenous people, the ancestors built retaining walls with high-rise soil on the edge of the residential area. To enhance protection, a spiny thorn bamboo forest was planted on the periphery. Because of its shape like a city wall, Xizhou was formerly known as Chengzi. Due to the underdevelopment of medicine at that time, the spirit of the people who lived in Xizhou area was completely pinned on the father. As long as there is a demand, if the people in the city want to go out to work and collect herbs, they must first ask the grandfather and grandpa, and dare to go out to work and collect medicine. In the early days, local residents were suffering from pain and digging wells. Without the care of their fathers and grandfathers, they would absolutely use no herbs and dig wells without water. Because of the prestige of the gods, the people naturally dedicated their ancestors and grandfathers, and the incense was in full bloom. In 1917, I asked Bao Zhenglai to be the head of the irrigation canal. Mr. Zeng Hongda, the first child teacher, taught the four books of Sinology. Each student paid about one kilogram for tuition per month, and then because the Neishan was a big water, there was no Shimen Reservoir every year. Inner mountains are used as water because the west bank is called the guest port and the east bank is (now Dahan Creek). At that time, the residents in and out of the city were transported by water. In the first four years of the Republic of China (1935), the devotees worked together to renovate the barn dedicated to the grandfather and grandpa into brick buildings. Until the winter month of the seventy-one (1982) of the Republic of China, I felt complimented by the rudeness of the premises. The reconstruction committee was composed of local gentry and believers. At the same time, construction was started and renovated. After being settled on October 1, the following year (1983) Hall, also established the Fukuyama Rock Management Committee. In the eighty years of the Republic of China (1991), construction of an archway was started at the intersection of Fushan Yilu and completed in one year. On October 21st of the Republic of China (1994), after discussions between believers and the management committee, it was decided to start construction of a worship hall.
