There is a third-class triangle point numbered 6296 on the top of the mountain, one of the 23 small mountains. The Xizhou Mountain Hiking Trail is also known as the "Fushanyan Mountain Hiking Trail". It is located on the northwest side of Xizhou Mountain on the north bank of Shimen Reservoir, opposite Fushanyan about 1km in front of the Shimen Reservoir toll station. The slope along the way is gentle, suitable for the general public to experience the fun of climbing. The ecological environment of all kinds of animals and plants along the way is very rich, and it is a popular suburban route. Xizhou Mountain is located near the Shimen Reservoir in Taoyuan, close to the Dahan River Valley. It is one of the small Baiyue Mountains. It is a third-class triangular point mountain with an altitude of 578 meters. It takes about 1 hour to go up the mountain and 2 hours to go down the mountain. Acacia woods have good shading effect, so the journey is very cool, and it is an excellent route for forest bathing and bird watching. Along the way, you can see a small stone lion and a big stone lion. The big stone lion is located at the end of the trail on the left of the main mountain trail. Platforms or hills such as Kenglun are excellent long-term prospects. Here you can see the beautiful scenery of the back pond of Shimen Reservoir and the Taoyuan Terrace.
