Every time I come to the Guanyin Temple (third-level historic site) to worship, I can get some peace of mind, and I always feel that I am blessed by the compassionate heart of Guanyin Bodhisattva. Parking is convenient, just buy some gold paper or biscuits from the store, climb the upper steps and you can see the Guanyin Pavilion in full bloom, and you can also overlook the cascading mountains. Apart from enshrining Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, Guanyin Temple also has the Three Officials Great Emperor (stove seat), the Eighteen Arhats, the Earth Lord, the Mountain God, and Kuixing. It stands alone by the Dahan River. Because there is a green and independent mountain peak, shaped like a water lotus, it is called "" "Lianzuo Mountain"; local officials also built their temples on the top of the mountain because of the peculiar scenery.

Taoyuan Lianzuoshan Guanyin Temple, located in Daxi, Taoyuan, is a municipal historic site. Located on the lotus seat, it mainly worships Guanyin Buddha and the Sanguan Emperor, so it is called "Guanyin Temple", also known as "Guanyin Pavilion". Guanyin Temple is located on Guanyin Mountain. It can be reached by going up the "Hundred Step Cloud Ladder" and passing through the antique square gate. It is a single-hall-style temple facing southeast and northwest. The old banyan in front of the temple is vigorous and the branches and leaves are sparse. The wide and winding river steps of the Darongkan River overlook the cascading mountains. In front of the main hall, the Xieshan double eaves and eight-pillar worship pavilion is the biggest architectural feature of Guanyin Temple. After the main hall of the temple was rebuilt, it was expanded from "three gates" to "five gates", but still only one entrance was maintained. On the right side of the temple, there is a Xizi Pavilion, three stories high, with the inscription "Kuixing Tower", surrounded by eight-sided stone fences. There is a Xizi Pavilion called "Jingsheng Pavilion" next to the temple. It is about three meters high and can be roughly divided into three layers. The top is mainly the air outlet, the middle is the mouth of the paper-burning furnace, and the bottom is the stone foundation. Over the years, the text has fallen and mottled, and only words such as "Jiao Ze Zhi Shi Yu" can be vaguely seen. The temple is located at the air outlet on the top floor, as the place of worship for Lord Kuixing. Peach, Bamboo and Miao Hakka often go home to worship the incense flag of Guanyin from this temple, and then return to the temple to visit their ancestors at the Christmas of Guanyin. Interestingly, Daxi Longshan Temple, where Daxi also worships Guanyin, is believed by Jinjiang people in Quanzhou. In the past, Hakka people in the Hsinchu area would carry agricultural products and sell them along the Niulan River through the Zhudong Chicken Oil Forest, Xionglin Mountain Pig Lake, Luliaokeng, and Guanxi along the Niulan River to Longtan. Due to the long journey, Jiang Shaozu of the Jiang family in Beipu built a tea pavilion on the top of the Luliaokeng Mountain in Xionglin, and wrote in handwriting the words "This journey is full of adventures, and the joys and sorrows are worth tasting." This ancient road takes one day to reach Daxi, and the porters stay overnight at the Guanyin Temple on Lianzuo Mountain in order to catch the morning market the next day. In the future, everyone will come to this temple every year after the Spring Festival to give thanks.
