★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 老宅前身是呂鷹揚與呂鐵州父子的故居，在大溪新南老街上，此街上的老宅大多只保留正立面，立面後已現代化改裝，蘭室是少數保留古代內裝的古宅，內設有古色古香的品茶區，氣氛不錯。
呂鷹揚先生的生平很有趣，有點類似台灣版的澀澤榮一，本來是清代秀才，後半生竟然能融入日本明治維新式的西化，還做起大生意來。
The predecessor of the old house was the former residence of Lu Yingyang and Lu Tiezhou father and son. On Daxi Xinnan Old Street, most of the old houses on this street retain only the front facade, and the facade has been modernized and remodeled. The orchid room is one of the few that retain the ancient interior. The old house has an antique tea tasting area with a nice atmosphere.
Mr. Lu Yingyang’s life is very interesting. It is a bit similar to the Taiwanese version of Shibusawa Eiichi. He was originally a scholar of the Qing Dynasty. In the second half of his life, he was able to integrate into the Westernization of Japan’s Meiji Restoration and started a big business.
