★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is kinda good to have Hakka food before take a long trip away from home, especially you know you will take 14 days quarantine in the other country. And it is very nice location before to enter the customs, and the price is reasonable not too expensive compare with other airports. The restaurant is nice and tidy with some traditional Hakka symbol decorations as the delight, I hope you may find some time to visit it if you are not in the rush to catch the flight or either running to the duty free shops rather than spend some money for a Hakka memory.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In the Taipei's airport, there is a foodcourt. The resurtant in there is a bit expensive but it is suitable for the price in airport. There are some restaurants that are very famous band, such as Burger King. There are also some local Taiwan restaurants which provide local Taiwan foods.
You can take some rest in this foodcourt before or after landing.
Compare to Taipei's city, the price in this foodcourt is slightly higher, but it is acceptable.
There are many airport staffs have lunch or dinner in here too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The dish came quick, and was tasty!
It's Thai, but suited also for the western pallet.. not too spicy..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just arrived Taoyuan Airport at midnight, missed the last train to Taipei, I decided to wait until morning and get some food there. Most of restaurants were closed, this one seemed open for 24hours, and delicious, worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The meal portion is big for one person. I had the vegetarian miso soup noodle and was disappointed in the limited ingredients within the meal. The seaweed was however very good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THE FOOD COURT IN TERMINAL 1
Place: It is in Terminal 1, then go down to the escalator nearby the #1 bay of releasing and check-in tickets. It is kind of small if you will fly during peaked season for sure the food court will be packed easily. But since I flew like no one much in here so the place have enough space for everyone.
Food Stall: There are American, Chinese, Japanese and Korean food stall. I can't tell which one is Taiwanese cuisine to be honest.
Food: I ordered the food below, they emphasized it is "non halal" when I ordered so. It is a chicken spicy something. It was good and finished it all.
Staff/crew: They've been so helpful and nice to approach. I think it is self service but there is a guy who clean up, I felt shy but he insisted.
Other things to know: The food place is somewhere where you can go if you are having a long layover. There's no socket here so don't expect. They have room for mothers who needs to feed their babies or change diapers. They have free WiFi and water. And monitor to check your flight. They also have bakeries and fruit stands and even milktea.
I hope I helped you out to know more the Food Court of Taiwan Airport Terminal 1.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great way to kick off or to end the trip to Taiwan in this food court in the basement of the arrival hall. Filled with many of the best known local favorites, this place really isn't too big, with limited seating and fills up very quickly. Fortunately one doesn't need 30 minutes to shovel down a lu rou fan, so the table turns around pretty quickly.
