I came here last year to watch the layout of the Festoon Festival. Recently I heard that the community has added light stations and the layout of the Waishe Bridge. In addition, the village also has some newly painted houses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 曾經作為凱達格蘭族的聚落，地名上仍有保留平埔族的歷史痕跡，外社聚落在日治時期因為出口農作物到其他地方，本來需要依靠人力挑著扁擔運輸，但後來興建輕便車站以鐵軌搭配人力推動，外社作為輕便車的終站點，為了讓人重溫舊時代的風華與滄桑重新打造外社輕便車車站，做為認識歷史的新景點。
而在車站中保留人工踩踏的小軌道車，還有花廊隧道及生態池，整個聚落也有配合過往的花彩季活動所規劃的社區建設，有民宅牆上的彩繪，也有美輪美奐的外社橋，當一旁的機場捷運列車通過時，更讓這裡的閒適美景增添不同的顏色。

Sheqiao, when the airport rapid transit train passing by, adds a different color to the leisure scenery here.
