有人想要停車在此，就想開始走到鹿廚坑步道嗎？
但要到登山步道口還可還要走上一大段產業道路，附近一堆工地施工，滿地砂石泥土，感覺很差，可能你還沒走到登山口，你就興緻全失想打退堂鼓了。
如果騎機車可以直接騎到鹿廚坑餐廳前的登山口，至於開車來比較麻煩，往鹿廚坑的道路狹窄，擔心會車問題的話就只好停在這裡，否則你就只好硬著頭皮開進去。
