★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 東江新村部落位於南庄鄉治東側，靠近大東河與南河交會口，是一座民國五十年代才出現的新部落，居民都來自鹿場、石壁兩社，起因於這些地方被學術界認為地層不穏，時有坍方，而且位深山交通極度不便，因而由政府將住戶強遷下山。
The Dongjiang New Village tribe is located on the east side of Nanzhuang Township, near the intersection of Dadonghe and Nanhe. It is a new tribe that only emerged in the 1950s. The residents come from the Luchang and Shibi communities. The reason is that these places are considered by the academic circles to have poor strata. There were landslides from time to time, and the deep mountain was extremely inconvenient for transportation, so the government forced the residents to move down the mountain.
