★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very good place to be immersed in Hakka Buddhist tradition. The nuns are very friendly and very patient in explaining what and how to do to observe these traditions. There are lots of books and crannies to explore in this area. Too bad the fresh mountain air is polluted with all the burning incense and paper. There are stalls selling local farm produce (though owners said they’re not here year round), my favorite is the dried persimmons.
