★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 原本的垃圾掩埋場，在功成身退後，後龍鎮公所將其結合，後龍鎮自行車旅行動線的其中一站，與好望角，舊海線過港隧道結合成半天寮休閒園區，後龍鎮公所在掩埋場舊址上設立了裝置藝術品，更花費重資與人力將樂園內周邊垃圾清理乾凈，讓前往遊客可直接行至海邊沙灘戲水，散步觀景，唯一需注意的是由於其現場屬於無人看管，只有鎮公所人員定時前往清潔整理垃圾，所以若下海戲水請注意自身安全
