壽同春 乃出面招集義民 會同官兵 收復竹塹城
但之後於彰化被擒 慘遭肢解而死
道光6年 1812 清水師提督 許松年 奏準於殉難處建祠
即今 苗栗縣通霄鎮 虎頭山下 壽公祠

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 照理來講，壽同春在乾隆平定林爽文之亂裡，大大有功於北台灣/竹苗收復，可惜香火最鼎盛的新竹新埔枋寮義民廟內，並未見壽公之牌位被祭祠。桃竹苗的眾多義民廟裡，也只有苗栗(北苗)廟民廟與通霄壽公祠兩處有祭祠。
Logically speaking, Shou Tongchun contributed a lot to northern Taiwan/bamboo seedlings in the rebellion of Lin Shuangwen during Qianlong's suppression of Dingding. It is a pity that the memorial tablet of Shou Gong was not seen in the temple at Fangliao Yimin Temple in Xinpu, Hsinchu. Among the many righteous temples in Taozhumiao, only the Miaoli (Beimiao) Temple and the Tongxiao Shougong Temple have shrines.
