★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 一樓的親子館可以很方便讓小孩放電。 裡面的設施蠻多的， 空調足夠， 各種安全防護措施都還算完善。 有許多辦家家酒的玩具， 18個月以下還在練習走路的小朋友有相當多適合探索的設施， 空間雖然沒有香山親子館的大， 但是內容物也相當豐富，足夠讓小朋友放電。 另外這裡也可以出借玩具或者是書籍， 這會讓很多父母省下買不必要的玩具的錢。 服務人員十分親切而且講解非常詳盡， 算是苗栗的公共設施中最親民的一個！
