★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 五穀宮西邊五穀路西側，先民開墾時發現此地土墩泥層粕性適合做瓦，因此興建瓦窯，為求諸事平安、工作順利，在土墩上供奉伯公，故稱瓦窯伯公。(苗栗市誌，2005)
 On the west side of Wugu Road on the west side of Wugu Palace, the ancestors found that the mound mud layer of this place was suitable for making tiles.
