Cars can be parked in Qudong Palace because the parking space next to the Moyan Mountain trail is very small and can only accommodate two cars. The stepped trail is very large and easy to walk. It takes about half an hour to go back and forth. The beautiful scenery on the high platform makes people feel the body. I am really happy in Taiwan. It still takes 100 meters to get to the check-in point. It is also a place with a unique flavor (it seems that the private land is no longer constructed). People come and go. It is a very popular scenic trail. Personally, I like it very much, although the altitude is only 157 meters. , the trail is not long but beautiful.

Moyan Mountain is located in the Jieshan Mountains of Gongguan Township and Touwu Township in Miaoli County, with an altitude of 157 meters. Because the top of the mountain is flat and square, it looks like an inkstone from a distance, so it is called "Moyanshan", which is also like a tray for serving dishes. Therefore, it is also called "Tuopan Mountain"; it is also the first one of the "Three Pinnacles" among the eight scenic spots in Miaoli (the second one is "Bajiaowei Mountain" and the third one is "Jali Mountain"), and the north and main peaks of Moyan Mountain , Nanfeng hills are continuous, and the peaks are shaped like pen racks, also known as "Bijia Mountain". The total length of the Moyan Mountain Trail is about 400 meters. The entire trail is a gentle slope composed of stone slabs. It is wide and easy to walk. The trees along the way are verdant. The main plants are arrow bamboo forest, tea tree, acacia tree, citrus tree and low-altitude shrubs. , grass and flowers, etc., the ecology is more abundant and diverse, and there are various insects and birds inhabiting. Listening to the calls of five-colored birds on the road has a unique flavor. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the viewing platform. When approaching the top of the mountain, there will be left and right indicators. The left is the Moyan Mountain Ancient Road, and the right is the viewing platform. The hinterland of the top of the mountain is very wide, with the Moyanshan Dashi landmark and rest seats, with a wide field of vision, overlooking the city of Miaoli, overlooking the Zhongshan Expressway and Houlongxi, and it is also a good place to enjoy the sunrise, sunset and night scenes.
