還有一些攤販與咖啡香
反而是廟方飼養的猴子
比較能吸引小朋友的注意
但小猴脾氣不怎麼好

但是有一段小徑兩邊都是開闊水域，路面沒有任何安全的鋪面，沒有水泥地，沒有石板，兩邊超級滿水位，走起來感覺危險，腳底發癢啊！
需要再好好規劃。

附近景點很多，這個地方免費還可以散步，環潭步道可以散心運動走路，上面還有吊橋可以看整個湖面，風景優美，尤其春天秋天來整個湖面真是美不勝收，其實稍加整理是一個相當好的景點之一，也可帶動地方鄉民收入，帶來不錯觀光客，跨湖吊橋可以觀賞整個湖面奇景，尤其是環湖步道，地勢平坦適合散步運動好去處，早上或傍晚最好，記得帶白開水補充水份。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 明湖蘇堤位在明德水庫苗16南岸道路之一處景點，造訪的人不多，遊附近橙香森林或露營區時可順遊。自行開車者，車可停於石碑兩旁停車場或海棠島樂活休閒園區停車場。步行環走明德水庫小圈，步道為木棧步道，輕鬆好走，兩旁山光水色，景緻宜人。另外，也可順訪永春宮及其客家文物館。可惜部份木棧道圍欄已損壞，似乎乏人維護。環繞一圈約需30分鐘，最後一小段路，需走苗16道路，為柏油路面。整體而言，如到附近遊玩，仍屬值得一走的休憩步道。
