20190126 I came here basically for climbing, but you will find it strange that I can't find the location of Mount Sakyamuni on the google map, nor can I find the mountain climbing trail of Mount Sakyamuni. This is the first time I know of this place. Or because of the news of climbers passing away here. The Shakyamuni Buddhist Temple is similar to other large temples nearby. There is always a large parking lot so you don't have to worry about parking problems. There are many renovation projects in the temple, which makes you wonder why those religions in Taiwan always have so much money to spend. At the beginning, I followed a bunch of aunties who looked like climbers to the direction of the big arch. As a result, when I asked, the entrance to the mountain was not here. It doesn't matter. Anyway, you should visit this place when you come here. In fact, the mountaineering path here in the big arch is a relatively gentle trail. Although you may already feel it is very steep, if you go directly to the mountaineering path of the triangle point, the one just The steep slope at the beginning can be a super steep slope of more than 30 degrees. On the way to the trailhead, you will also encounter a Buddhist temple that was destroyed by fire. Following the trailhead will lead to a narrow and barren trail. Almost 99% of this trail is stairs. Although it claims to have 1620 steps, you only need to climb the intermediate level Mountains, you should feel quite relaxed. After all, not all road sections are uphill. The outlook around the triangle point is not bad. Personally, I estimate that it takes about an hour to go up and down the mountain.
