Hakka Restaurant - Terrible food and purely a Tourist Trap. There is nothing Hakka or authentic about the the dishes. Everything tasted poorly prepared and from someone who has almost no cooking skills. The only half decent dish was the bitter melon stir-fried with eggs. The environment and price are acceptable, but there is no reason at all to come here for eating.

It’s not as good as it was about 10 years ago. The braised pork had this weird smell and was tough. The fried squid was really really hard. Felt like I was chewing through cardboard. The sautéed lamb with ginger was mostly ginger, though I don’t mind that. The fish dish (see pic) was lacking in flavor. The rest were ok. I won’t be coming again soon.

Awesome place and and does so many things right! Great food, very friendly staff, and top notch service! Super busy place with reservations until May but made room for 6 of us when we told them we were coming with mobility challenged grandparents. While the parking lots were packed they directed us to the disabled parking spaces for immediate parking. The grandparents were happy with the food, decor, and service. Very senior friendly is a big plus! Two of us are vegetarian but found good choices for vege dishes. Another pleasant surprise we had was when a vegetable dish which was assumed to be vegetarian came non-vegetarian style. After informing them they asked if we wanted another one made right and we said it's okay don't bother as we couldn't finish all the food anyway. Soon after a vegetarian version came and they waived the dish from our bill as well! Everyone was friendly and curteous and soon after the meal grandpa was asking where will we be going for dinner!

The menu is Mandarin only and no pictures, the friendly still doesn't speak English. However, the food was delicious and it had a fun atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the crispy ? feet, steamed buns with pork and greens, and the jujube rice. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Very popular place on farmer cuisine...but for my personally the food can't ranked at top...

Good restaurants. A must try food when you are at Miaoli city. The environment is nice as well. Good experience.

Nice place for bringing family for a meal. Also has some furry creatures to feed and watch as well a sandbox.
