Dahu Guanyin Temple in Miaoli County is located in the foothills on the west side of Dahu City. It overlooks Malabang Mountain, Yaopo Mountain, and the left and right peaks. It is a picturesque scenery, overlooking the panoramic view of Dahu Street every evening. At that time, the lights of Wanjia were very close. Surrounded by the river at the foot of the temple, the river is gurgling, the morning greets the dawn, the warm day and the breeze, in the early years it was called "Xiu Xing Tang", and the main deity of "Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva" was enshrined. It is also commonly called "Hepai Zhaitang" by local people, but in recent years It has been named "Dahu Guanyin Palace" by enshrining the main god. Dahu Guanyin Temple has always been a belief center for the residents of Dahu Hakka Village. The history of the temple records as early as the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty. At the beginning of the Dahu reclamation and local warfare, the believer Luo Tiansong was repeatedly assisted by the gods in the war. God's intentions raised funds from the local area, and built a temple at the current site (No. 5 Xiongjiao Keng, Fuxing Village, Dahu Township) in the 7th year before the People's Republic of China. Chen Yongfu, chairman of Dahu Guanyin Palace, because he is always enthusiastic about public welfare, serving the villagers without complaints, and spares no effort in the construction of Dahu Township. It coincides with the renovation of the main hall of Dahu Guanyin Palace and the construction of the statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva, all of which paid for it. Thanks to their efforts and obtaining subsidies for ancillary projects, as well as the contributions of benevolent men and women from all over the country, the 16-meter-high Guanyin Buddha statue, which is the largest in Miaoli County, was finally completed.
