The Hakka cuisine in Sanyi Hidden Sanheyuan is very special The meal is very Hakka Fried sausage is super delicious Ginger shredded large intestine is sour enough for Hakka corn chicken is chewy chicken i like Hakka stir-fry is super delicious with fried tofu The fried plank is completely different from the one eaten in Beipu. The aroma of black vinegar here is more than that of oily shallots, which is more refreshing and not greasy. Fucai Pork Soup is very refreshing Vegetable garden eggs, three-cup medium rolls, and beef with green onions are also good. 2800 CP is quite high after eating so much

I have visited the pocket restaurant for the second time. The smell of the Hakka wok is amazing. The salt and pepper pork feet that are marinated and then fried are also very degenerate and delicious (this one needs to be reserved), and several other hot stir-fried and Fu Cai soups are also very good. , Fried noodles are also Q bomb, but Hakka cuisine is always a little oily and can't do it. The point is that there is a perfect distance for epidemic prevention to eat in the quaint Sanheyuan box. Regardless of the taste and environment, as well as the wonderful feeling of eating at home, I will definitely come again next time. (The projection lamp on the wall is not provided by the store that I brought to 38 to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday)

The restaurant in the alley can only be found by navigation. The parking part is that there is a place near the restaurant wall. The surrounding alleys are narrow and narrow. Drivers should be careful to scratch the food. The food itself is not amazing. , but the staff are very polite and comfortable to deal with. The price is also the price of a general restaurant, I personally think it is acceptable

The four star rating is a bit generous as the food quality is not quite deserving of the rating. The restaurant is located in an old house so the charm of such an arrangement helped. Our party of nine were seated in a room separate from other diners so that almost single handedly elevated the rating from three to four stars. Our group had the set menu offering priced at NTD 5000. A plate of stirred fried flat noodle, which is a classic dish in the “Ke Jia (客家)” cuisine, was added as an extra. The stirred fried flat noodle deserved four stars as the noodles were moist yet chewy and the seasoning was right on. Most of everything else were pretty good although nothing else warrants more than three stars in my view. The steamed fish was overcooked and the seasoning did not compliment the fish very well. The prawns were also cooked longer than optimal. While always a disappointment, overcooked fish or prawns is surprisingly common in all the restaurants I partaked in while in Taiwan. That said, this place is still better than the few restaurants that I had been to in the vicinity of “San Yi (三義)”. I have no hesitation going back to have another meal when I am in the area in the future.

Hakka Restaurant: Summary - Traditional, authentic Hakka dishes in a rustic environment. The Pros: The fried pork leg is a great blend of spices over tender meat. Prices are friendly and the service staff is efficient. If you want to see a restaurant in a traditional setting, this is the right place. The Cons: Most dishes are very greasy / oily. Finding parking spaces nearby can be daunting.

Home cooked Hakka food in a traditional Hakka building. Decent food in a unique dinning setup. Worth a visit if you happen to be in the area... just to experience the Hakka setup.
