 Tamsui Old Street, the characteristic street ladder is completely invisible, only the painted walls are left, and the reconstruction is open to visit under the name of the Japanese police officer’s dormitory (the backyard air-raid shelter is locked). There is nothing to see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can see the history of the residents from this old street. The red bricked piled arch shows the building techniques of the ancestor. In any given Sunday morning, you can walk on the street to feel how Dan Shui looked like 50 years ago or even earlier. Dan Shui Township was built from the harbor and riverbank pushed up to the hills.
So, you can tell the timeline relationship between Dr. Mackay's clinic and the church and the street. The street is cut by the Taiwan State 2B highway. If you cross the highway and continue to follow the old street, you can even understand more when it is called "Rebuilt Street".
