★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really didnt disappoint. I wasnt a fan of braised pork dishes but this blew me away. The meat was braised so perfectly and tender. Accompanied with a braised egg and a side vegs and u pretty much got the best bfast food in taichung for just 100ntd. Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Famous pork rice place, the most famous closed at 5 am so heard this is the daytime choice. Pack on the weekend! You will need one person hunt for table one get in line, but it is worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This shop is located in Taichung's Second Market, it's got enough seating area, the pork belly is fabulous, the green veggie soup with sweet potato and tiny fish is wonderful, and the side dishes are fun and reasonably priced. There are uncountable places in Taichung that serve similar and also extremely tasty dishes. This place is just well known, has a gorgeous mural at the entrance, and always has a line.
