This is where I grew up, from prosperity to decline. I hope Google Street View cars (people?) can come in, so that more people can see the whole picture of the century-old alley.

I didn't know the trail that I never crossed before. I walked comfortably and quietly, and if I observe carefully, I can find many ancient meanings that exist in parallel time and space outside the present!

Explore the little-known century-old alleyway in the old city, surrounded by Taichung’s well-known scenic spots, the Second Market, Hexagon Building, and Yanchuan Waterfront Scenic Walkway, but few people know this century-old calendar. This is the alley of the residential houses left in the "Qing Dynasty era" in Lane 257 of Zhongshan Road, and it was preserved during the "Japanese era". The ancient well in the ancient road is an extension of the Yanagawa tributary in the past. Japan rehabilitated the backfill waterway but still retains the groundwater layer. Therefore, many water intakes on the ancient road are used for people's livelihood. Because there is a groundwater layer on the wall or inconspicuous corners, we can find traces of Adiantum. The bright black petiole is slender and shiny like iron wire. The name of "Adiantum fern" comes from it. Its leaf shaft is dark and shiny like iron wire, so Europeans and Americans call it "girl hair."

Outside the complicated Second Market, there are quiet alleys, walking on the Liuchuan Ancient Road. The road is old, and the modern houses on both sides are integrated, immersing in the whirlpool of time illusion.
