★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 設計落成於1962年，由設計東海大學之貝聿銘等3位旅美建築師之一的陳其寬建築師設計，與東海大學舊建築系館、市定古蹟原藝術中心相同的倒傘薄殼結構建築，且此案將柱子轉45度，是原藝術中心先前的實驗性設計，非常具有工程技術與建築史的價值。
The design was completed in 1962. It was designed by Chen Qikuan, one of the three architects in the United States including I.M. Pei of Tunghai University. The inverted umbrella shell structure is the same as the old architecture building of Tunghai University and the original art center of the city. The building, and this case turns the pillars by 45 degrees, is the previous experimental design of the original art center, which has the value of engineering technology and architectural history.
