"Awakening Xiu Palace" does not have a statue of a giant soldier, and it is located in Houyi Lane, which is less crowded. It is probably one of the three major Guandi Temples in Taichung City. But because it is quite effective, Xingxiu Palace is one of the local religious centers. The history of Xingxiu Palace can be traced back to the end of the war in 1945, and the modern appearance of its building will not be completed for another 18 years. The inauguration ceremony was held on New Year's Day in 1964. General Jiang Weiguo, commander-in-chief of the Armored Forces of the Republic of China, came to cut the ribbon. Twenty-six days later, the Hukou Mutiny broke out, and General Wei Guo's armored commander was pulled out, and he was unable to compete with Chiang Ching-kuo from then on.
