★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple bright white shop, no reservation nor take away service. Shop front attracts photo taking. Went for late lunch at 1:30pm, no queue. Ordered spicy beef soup noodle set. Can swap duck's blood jelly to bean curd sheet. Food is fast. Noodle taste good.

Summary - No Frills meal delivered in efficient manner at a pleasant environment.
The Pros - Simples menu (4 choices only), food delivery speed, and the overall presentation (with one wooden bowl for the noodles and the other for the broth) are a big plus.
The garden and well lit interior are also positives (it used to be brunch restaurant).
The Cons - Small, unsatisfying food portions. The overall taste is unremarkable. No place to park within blocks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super popular spicy noodle shop from Taipei, recently opened in Taichung. There’re only four different sets of noodles+soups to choose from (either spicy or not spicy, and with or without beef tendon), and quite a few small side dishes and beverages to choose from. The place is almost always packed and with a long queue lined up (in all four locations)
Noodles are good, especially if you like your spicy win a little numbing effects. Soups are ok, but if you’re allergic to MSG, you might not want to sip your soups... The concept is more toward a MALA hotpot than your regular Taiwanese style beef noodle soup. Worth a try :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried it at the Mitsukoshi Taichung basement food court instead of the flagship restaurant. The dry noodle itself was very good. However, the spicy tofu pot side dish was below average considering the combo costs NT$200. Will try again for another combination next time.

The dry spicy noodles was chewy and delicious. The soup was my love! A little bit spicy and flavorful. Pretty recommend to order fried bread stick(add to the soup).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ super popular noodle shop from Taipei, and it turns out so popular too in Taichung.
First time we came here and the place is so aesthetic even the toilet.
The dry noodle is very tasty and Q, I love every bite of it. The soup and meat are so tasty and flavorful too. You can adjust the spiciness yourself.
One of the menu you definitely must not missed is the fried bread stick (油條)
