★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hot Pot Restaurant - Nice atmosphere but EXTREMELY Overpriced. The service was subpar, the food was average at best (the meat and fish balls were terrible) and the broth was very common. It is simply not worth it.

Didn't find the soup as nice as what many said. Meats are fresh though.
Service of the staff is excellent as well as they will bow 90 degree, making you feel appreciated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tripod King Hotpot is a chain of restaurants recommended by a friend who is also visiting Taiwan at the same time as us. Since he is a foodie, we decided to give it a try. He told me that there's duck blood (unlimited servings) and that they were "shiok" meaning uber delicious! Reservation in advance is highly recommended and dining time is up to 90 minutes each session. The ribeye beef was exceptionally good. The mala soup base were not too spicy or numbing but I guess you can dictate the level of heat. Food is fresh and service excellent at the Han Kou branch where we ate. BTW, both the hot tea and the cold chrysanthemum tea with wolfberries were delicious! We spent about NT$3400 for 4 adults and 3 children between 1 to 4 years of age.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was 12:10 and I walked into this store alone since I was starving after a long day. One of waitresses was so kind that she taught me how to order line with patience and helped me to get a bowl of rice. I was blown away by this amazing customer service in this store. Other waiters and waitresses were super friendly too. Really appreciate. Food were delicious by the way.
