Great quality meat, great price, unlimited rice, soup, and drinks!

The worst yakiniku I’ve had in my life. Randomly walked in this place for its relatively high google rating (4.6) and restaurant branding —wagyu yakiniku. However, as soon as I paid, there is the sense that I’ve been scammed. 1. Horrible tasting beef. Their beef are not even wagyu. Tho it looks great in photos, it tastes and smells like rotten meat. 2. The restaurant does not even offer charcoal grill, instead we have to cook on an iron griddle. So what’s the point for me to pay for the “yakiniku” here. 3. There’s no proper seasoning and dipping sauce for the meat. When we asked for the dipping sauce, the sever literally brought us the one used for marinading raw meats. 4. Very overpriced. It costs NTD $1000+ per person for the worst quality of food and services.

Can I give more than 5 stars?? The food was fresh and delicious! The set meals were beautifully presented and the portion sizes were generous. We're very satisfied with the quality and quantity (loved that all the plates were ceramic). How's the meat you ask? Well, the SO said that the beef was very flavorful and melt in your mouth tender, but hard to swallow...because he wanted to savor the beefy flavor of each bite, LOL. Loooooved the personal hibachi grill & cast iron combo :) Unbelievable CP! How do they turn a profit; their $290 set meal came with 2 large pieces of mullet roe as one of the side dishes today! Highly recommend. Honestly, if we're not so satiated with our carnivorous late lunch, we'd go back for dinner. BTW, if you give them a thumbs up on FB, before the end of this month, you'll be treated to two large oysters on the half shelf courtesy of the proprietor -- incredibly generous (the oysters were fresh and very tasty today)! (Ask the staff for more details if you are interested.)
