第一次來用餐,本身是吃素食料理,每一道菜端上來時,可以感受到經營者的用心,廁所裡邊的棉布擦手巾,太讓我喜愛了???????? 今天和朋友一起,也帶了3個孩子,小孩淘氣的玩著庭院的石頭和藝術裝置,真是太不好意思了,下次關顧時我們會留意的???
The first time I came to eat, I was eating vegetarian food. When each dish was served, I could feel the operator's care. The cotton cloth in the toilet to wipe the hand towel made me love it so much???????? I was with my friends today, and I also brought 3 children. The children play with the stones and art installations in the courtyard mischievously. I am so sorry. We will pay attention to it next time we visit???

位在台中太平的施雜貨,店名雖為雜貨但其實是個複合式空間,包含了店主一家人在幾個不同領域的發揮成果如藝術作品、質感小物、料理等,Google一下後會輕易找到不少關於施雜貨的資訊,簡言之這是個有故事、有理念、有溫度的場域,而這些當然是由其店主一家人所促成並呈現,其他更多細節在此就不覆述,在此只想分享一下這次造訪享用施雜貨的料理的經驗。 描述施雜貨的料理時,與其一開始就描述食物本身有多厲害(食材或料理手法等),我認為更該先表達的是其料理其實比較不像是匠人或職人的成品而更是主廚一家人的種種生活態度和方式、理念、和熱情的自然「產物」。施雜貨的料理看似家常卻不尋常,彷彿簡單卻絕不簡單,這次造訪店家上了一份湯、五份菜、再配上一碗飯,其中的酸筍酸中帶鮮,雞肉肉質極佳、調味令人喜愛,然後煎蛋吃起來好像特別香甜,真的是樣樣都好吃,都充分表現了平凡中的不平凡。除了料理用心造就出美妙的滋味和口感,施雜貨也是「綠色餐廳」,所用的食材均講求自然健康,這又是一大加分。但當然,上述種種其實不過是主廚一家人的生活的延伸罷了,在施雜貨吃飯,感覺就像接受店主一家人的款待,而這款待真美好。海明威曾描述巴黎是個「流動的饗宴」(a moveable feast),我認為在施雜貨也可以享用美好的饗宴,那是從店家的生活理念溫度等無縫延伸到料理所成就的一場盛筵。 施雜貨距離台中市區頗有一段距離,車子過去需約20-30分鐘,來回就要快一小時,交通成本高昂,問我值不值得?絕對值得。我只會可惜施雜貨不是開在我台北的家的附近,不然肯定三天兩頭就上門拜訪 ? 我心目中的台中必訪,無保留推薦

When describing Shi Sunco's cooking, rather than describing how good the food itself is (ingredients or cooking techniques, etc.) at the beginning, I think the first thing I should say is that the cooking is actually less like the finished product of a craftsman or a craftsman and more like a chef. A natural "product" of a family's various attitudes and ways of life, ideas, and passions. Shi's food seems to be homely but unusual. It seems simple but not simple. This time I visited the store and served one soup, five dishes, and a bowl of rice. The sour bamboo shoots are sour and fresh, and the chicken meat is extremely high-quality. The taste is good, the seasoning is lovely, and the omelette seems to be particularly sweet. It is really delicious, and it fully expresses the extraordinary in the ordinary. In addition to the wonderful taste and texture created by the careful cooking, Shi Sundry is also a "green restaurant", and the ingredients used are all natural and healthy, which is another plus point. But of course, all of the above is really just an extension of the chef's family's life. Eating at the grocery store feels like receiving the hospitality of the owner's family, and this treat is really good. Hemingway once described Paris as "a moveable feast", and I think it's also possible to enjoy a good feast while serving groceries. It's a feast that extends seamlessly from the store's philosophy of life to the cooking. Shi Grocery is quite a distance from downtown Taichung. It takes about 20-30 minutes by car, and it takes about an hour to go back and forth. The transportation cost is high. Ask me if it is worth it? Absolutely worth it. I will only regret that Shi Sundries is not open near my home in Taipei, otherwise I will definitely visit every three days ? In my mind, Taichung must visit, I recommend it without reservation

Owner is very friendly and dedicated on the preparation. The food quality is well above expectation. The only drawback is the seat that isn't comfortable enough and the seating space is somehow small for a 2-hour more dinning time....

We discovered this place by chance and we were so grateful that we found this place! They used the freshest organic ingredients with the simplest yet delicious cooking to bring out the real flavour of the food. So much love and passion in crafting the place and the food. I hope I could have spent more time here! Would definitely recommend to everyone who keen to eat real good food!

We had first New Year’s meal here, and it was wonderful! Every member of family is involved in the store. Mother and daughter are in charge of food, most of ingredient is farm to table. Husband makes beverage, we love the pour-over coffee. Father is the ambassador, he showed us his studio and steel artwork. Every corner of the store presents characteristically that makes it worth to visit and listen their stories.
