木炭燒到火紅的熾熱溫度,香腸、糯米腸放在網上,隨著時間流逝蹦出細碎的滋滋油爆聲,代表美味的炙色在不經意間也悄悄出現。這股香氣能傳千里,試問世間有幾人能抵擋這炭燒古早味香腸糯米腸的魅力?這香氣在水湳市場牌坊下,正在悄悄流竄。留園香腸在傍晚五點營業,地點就在大鵬路和長安路口,這轉角是佳利水果攤,緊鄰大福社區牌坊。在嘉義長大的老闆說,一到下午街上就傳出的陣陣烤香腸香氣,是他兒時難忘的記憶。 那時的香腸糯米腸成份很簡單,不像現在幾乎都是吃到人工腸衣或是化學香料的味道。這思鄉的情感讓他決定把這古早味,烤給台中朋友享用。在等候炭火溫度時,店家也沒閒著,正俐落的將蒜頭切片。是說香腸和大蒜根本是天生一對,蒜頭還真得現切,那個辣嗆度才夠味。醬料有以蔥、辣椒、大蒜泡的醬油,分為辣和不辣二種。旁邊有小包裝袋,喜歡什麼自已裝。若要現吃,也可請店家直接淋在香腸/糯米腸上面。最妙的應該就屬這青木瓜絲,第一次在香腸攤看到走南洋風的青木瓜絲耶!店家說他覺得酸酸甜甜的青木瓜絲吃起來很清爽解膩,烤到微有炙色,油香愈來愈迷人,就表示終於快能吃到他們留園香腸是每日將豬後腿肉現灌入豬大腸腸衣中,所以產品保證新鮮無防腐劑。 獨家中藥調味,肥瘦比2:8,讓口感更清爽
