Use the elevater to get to the second floor.
Choose one of the basic sets with the meat you like and you will not be disappointed. Ok, it is not cheap, around 2200 to 6000 NT for the compete set (per person, including tax) but I think it is worth the money. There are also some cheaper options, but if you want some good beef, then you have to spend this amount.
The service is very attentive, however they can more or less not speak English at all. So it helps if you know some Chinese.
So far I have been here three times and I guess I will come again the next time I visit Taichung.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exceedingly overpriced, there are much better fine dining options in Taichung. I ordered the A5 wagyu and lobster set, and the only decent course in that set was the codfish and scallop appetizer. The lobster was rubbery and completely tasteless, the wagyu steak under-seasoned and lacking in flavor. The other courses (soup, dessert, salad, teppanyaki vegetables) were similarly underwhelming, with dessert being particularly bad. I ended up paying 3400nt for food which tasted barely above night market quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place for a satisfying meal. Albeit somewhat pricey, the dinner package is certainly good value for money. The teppanyaki is prepared "live" providing an added attraction. The meat was very well prepared and tasted awesome. Included in the set are two starters, soup, the main course, and dessert, with a fairly wide variety of beef, and other meats. Highly recommended if you're giving yourself a nice treat ?
