★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 位在西屯老街熱鬧的西屯市場裡，1952年由台中市西屯區士紳廖天堂居士提供私宅大廳闢建圓通寶殿。開山住持廖天堂，法號〈如通〉，與其夫人陳秀任，法號〈如虔〉同心合作，奠定初創基礎，以引導正信、覺悟佛法為宗旨，遂以『正覺』為名。
Located in the lively Xitun Market in Xitun Old Street, the Yuantong Hall was built in 1952 by the private house provided by the gentry Liao Tiantang in Xitun District, Taichung City. The abbot of Kaishan, Liao Tiantang, named "Rutong", and his wife Chen Xiuren, named "Ruqian" worked together to lay the foundation for the start-up. With the purpose of guiding righteous faith and enlightenment of Buddhism, he took the name "Zhengjue".
