I hope that the Cultural Affairs Bureau in Taichung can properly renovate and plan to design it like Dehuatang in Tainan.

Yishan Hall was originally a traditional Sanheyuan building in the Qing Dynasty. However, due to the urban renewal and widening of the road, the protection of the dragons on both sides is no longer seen. The scope of today's Yishan Hall is its only remaining building. In addition to the renovation of the roof tiles, the main structure of Yishan Hall is still more than a hundred years ago. The wood carvings in the interior space are mostly composed of traditional basic geometric patterns, which are simple and unpretentious, reflecting the characteristics of its private Buddhist hall. In order to avoid damaging the main structure, the beam decoration of Yishantang is decorated with paint. Although the color patterns have become increasingly blurred due to long-term incense and dyeing, it can still be recognized that its non-Chinese tradition focuses on ink halo painting. The painter uses flat coating techniques. The lines are neatly outlined, presenting the style of Eastern and Western paintings introduced during the Japanese occupation. The "Ci Yun Pu Ji" plaque is hung in front of the Great Hall of the Great Hall, written in small letters: "Guangxu Bingwu year Qiaoyue Jidan, Ji Jinshi was born and hand-picked Hanlin Academy Ji Ji Pan Bingnian Jingshu". The year of Guangxu Bingwu is exactly the 12th year of Guangxu (1886 AD). The legend about this plaque is still circulated in the village where Yishantang is located. Although it is not verifiable, the legend in this village is a portrayal of Yishantang ’s local religious status. In the legend, the Empress Dowager Cixi is the protagonist and also reflects the spread of religion Characters often called by emperors and celebrities. The historical building of the Hakka group, the main hall is dedicated to Guanyin Bodhisattva.

Yan Shantang, the famous name of the master of the mountain, Liao Bo, once went to the Gushan Temple in Fujian, China. The law is deep and the inheritance of the Shanshan Church is still managed by its fourth generation Sun Liao Shi Pan. Yan Shantang was founded in Guangxu 8 years (AD 1882) and has been around for more than 100 years. After two rounds of road widening, the temple was originally built in the traditional courtyard house, and only the body part is left.
