「后豐鐵馬道」路段由原來的臺鐵舊山線整建，沿途景觀多樣化，除了青翠田園與寧靜的鄉村景緻外，還有雄偉壯觀的花樑鋼橋，横跨在大甲溪寬廣的溪谷上。
