According to legend, during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty, Yang Qian, Bengang South Street, Zhuluo County (now Chiayi), applied for the construction of Changhua At the time of the city, the incense of the Mother of Heaven in Thean Hou Temple, which was enshrined by his own family, was brought here, and it was used for body protection. Yang Qian then hung the incense in Wayao (now north of Nanyao Palace and Temple) for worship, and the incense was actually received by the mountain and river. Every night, he frequently saw five rays of light illuminate the bullfighting. The nearby residents were amazed. When I entered the work room, I saw the existence of the incense of the Virgin Mary in heaven. It is believed that it must be a prominent god, and the incense has been growing ever since. In the third year of the Qianlong Emperor Qianlong, Wayao Village established a small temple called "Mazu Palace". In November of the same year, funds were raised to build and sculpt five statues of gods. They were officially named "Nanyao Palace". After twelve years of Tongzhi, various Mahuis were established . The Fourth Mother’s Club was established in the 9th year of Guangxu. It is composed of 12 horns including Guandi Hall, Dadu, Bijiao, Shuihoutou, Guogou, Changhua, Fengyuan, Chencuo Li, Litou Li, Da Cun, Daya, Yuanlin, etc. , And Fengyuan Dajiao consists of small corners such as Dakeng, Jungong, Xintian, Kiancun, Jiaren, Tanzi, Dapucuo, Shepi, Zhongyang, and Fengyuan.
