家人看電視介紹,很想嘗試一下鰻魚飯,昨晚研究網友們評論,好像好壞參半,所以帶著忐忑心情前往,會不會只是另一個雷。 下午4點53分左右到達店前,營業時間17:00,所以店內空空的,看不到任何服務人員,所以先四周晃了一下,可是今天不是衝着豐原夜市,又繞回去店前等待,約16:56,這時有兩個客人先入內,老廚師出來接待,要我們先看一下菜單,等一下過來點餐,這時我就四處看看,果然是很有歷史的店了,座位不多,收銀台前有些舊照片,客人陸續來外帶便當,感覺應該都是熟客,老廚師忙裡忙外的,不斷說不好意思,因為只有他這個人力,請客人見諒,好吧,既來之則安之,慢慢等待吧~ 忙完外帶和其他桌後,終於輪到我們,其實以一個人力的速度,並不算慢,但,假如遇到爆滿,那可能真的需要點耐心;正當心裡想著,這樣的老店也凋零中吧?!老廚師邊上菜,邊跟我們聊幾句,原來他工作40幾年了,說電視來採訪,結果中午爆滿,忙到不可開支;看著家人點的鰻魚飯,秒懂為何其他人強調”這是古早味,不習慣,別來吃”,所謂的古早味,指的是日據時代那種刻苦生活,所以配菜,看起來就不是那麼精緻,醃製居多(個人解讀),可是鰻魚香味,讓盯著手機看的兒子,忍不住說好香喔,肚子都餓了,家人也說鰻魚很不錯,就是份量少了些。(老廚師有說,飯不夠可以加,那鰻魚不夠,可以加嗎?哈) 接著,我點的和食特餐上桌,先吃了炸蝦,還滿合我口味,不像很多都是很油很膩,粉很厚,沾一點醬,算是爽口,炸茄子地瓜,也是水準之上,再咬一口烤雞腿,腦袋不禁轉了轉,搜尋記憶中是否吃過有這樣口味烤雞腿,似乎是沒有,並不是用料多特別,而是樸實中的美味,每一口都入味,每一口都熟透,卻每一口也香嫩,並不柴,真是不錯呢!很多雞腿會有那種不是很熟的部分,不然就是柴掉,老廚師不愧有40多年經驗呢!而還有一塊香氣十足鯖魚呢~飯是那種粒粒分明,灑上一些海苔芝麻,小兒子說飯超好吃的,看來他愛白飯勝過主菜 XD 當我們享受著,有白嫩豆腐,非常好喝的味噌湯時,老廚師突然出來跟客人道歉,做不出炸蝦了,已經都賣完了,接著把門掩上,要客人隨意用餐,不用再意,但是無法接待新客人了,陸續拒絕了幾組客人,這也才營業1小時,6點不到,今天東西都售完,準備休息了(中午大爆滿影響的)……一般來說,我應該會給4顆星,算是符合我的口味了,最後多給了一顆星,是因為,看了其他人評論,說老廚師脾氣不好,其實我今天一直留心注意,不覺得有那裡差勁,要離開時,這時候來了一家子,想吃鰻魚飯,老廚師道歉說,都賣完了,可是看了一眼輪椅上的老婆婆,改口說,好吧,我可以再特別製作一份鰻魚飯,進來吧,看到老婆婆笑的開心滿足,小當家也說過啊,廚師就是要帶給吃的人,幸福美滿感覺,所以這是我給五顆星的理由,以上提供參考。

7點抵達餐廳大門已緊閉,店內空無一人,祇有一位老太太在用餐,看樣子應是闆娘,在門口張望並問是否公休或者已打烊休息。闆娘非常熱情的說我們特地跑來雖然已休息打烊但我們可以入內,她特別為我們做鰻魚飯給我們吃!非常開心感受到這麼熱情的老店風情,點了兩個鰻魚飯一大一小及兩個茶碗蒸,約莫15分鐘闆娘上菜了,我一看居然使用的是臺灣白鰻而且只挑6兩重大小(比日本星鰻等級更高)…心想不簡單,居然是用這麼上等的6雨白鰻來做鰻魚飯!第1口入口…慘了…停不下來,一個大份的鰻魚飯,居然不到5分鐘吃光,並立刻再點一個大份的(闆娘有點嚇到)。第1次吃鰻魚飯連續一次吃兩個大份的,而且用極快的速度吃完,我衹能說真是太好吃了,人間美味,豐原人真是幸福要好好珍惜老店好味道啊,有這麼好吃的鰻魚飯可以吃。
