Amazing steakhouse! Enjoy the sirloin. I would encourage everybody to order a smaller steak and take advantage of their salmon or shrimp which is less than $100 NTD!

Great decor, comfortable seating -kinda american diner style benches, great food of course ?(though it's a little heavy on the carbs - not really any salad but they did have fruit ?). Plenty of help-yourself drink options, +good soups, although no alcohol - which seems a little weird. The French fries are all-you-can-eat. They're very good too. You definitely won't leave there hungry, but you should probably walk home to burn off some of those calories ??? Plenty of parking for scooters/bicycles, but not really anything for cars.

If you’re craving beef, Mr. steak is the restaurant for you! Mr. Steak is an American themed restaurant that serves a wide variety of steaks that differ in cut, weight, and country of origin. There are enough choices in beef that will satisfy the most budget-concerned customer and to the most hungriest of customers (They have a 48oz steak!). The entree is accompanied with veggies, rice, fries and bread along with a salad bar featuring unlimited soup, fresh fruits, sodas, coffees and teas. (All included in the price of the entree) There is enough English in the menu for a foreigner to decide what entree they would like but it might be a bit confusing with all the rows, columns and options. The ordering process works like this: After being seated by your cowboy waiter, mark down what you would like on your menu. Decide which cut of steak you would like and an optional seafood side dish add on. 鱈魚 - Squid 鮭魚 - Salmon 鮮蝦 - Shrimp 墨魚 - Cuttlefish Find the appropriate row and mark down how done you want your steak cooked (生熟度) and what sauces (醬料) you want on the side. 生熟度 - Doneness (Mark down one) 5 - Rare 7 - Medium Rare 全 - Well Done 醬料 - Sauce (Multiple choices is fine) 黑 - Black Pepper Sauce 蘑 - Mushroom Sauce 義 - Italian Seasoning Then take your menu and pay upfront at the cashier. Enjoy the salad bar and drinks while your steak is being cooked! For me, Mr. Steak isn’t the place you go to when you want a 5 star, well marbled, meticulously crafted as if it were made for gods, kind of steak. It’s the kind of place you go to when you’ve been a bit homesick in Taiwan and been craving just any chunk of steak. A steak from one of those diners you might remember back home that served up a reasonably delicious one at a deliciously reasonable price. And Mr. Steak does just that! For someone visiting Taiwan on vacation I wouldn’t recommend it, but for the foreigner who’s been living in Taiwan for awhile, Mr. Steak is worth a visit to satiate that beef craving.
