現年八十七歲的羅周回憶，當時他帶著兩個弟弟，運用大石頭面井內、混凝土的古早做法，砌了三公尺深的井身，真材實料，連九二一震後都完好如初，持續供水滋潤五〇多戶村民，而有了「幸福井」美名。

Luo Zhou, now 87, recalled that with his two younger brothers, he built a three-meter-deep well with his two younger brothers using the old methods of using large stones in the well and concrete. After the earthquake, they were all intact as before, with continuous water supply to nourish more than 50 villagers, and they gained the reputation of "Happy Well".
