Dad has served in Qingshan Power Plant. I have been there many times. I miss the place. I don’t have the feeling at the time. I want to go back and walk. The road is too easy. It’s very hard to get in and out of the power plant.

大甲溪發電廠青山分廠為一座位於臺灣臺中市和平區的水力發電廠，即大甲溪中游達見峽谷的下游，為台灣電力公司大甲溪發電廠系列中的其中一座分廠，舊稱青山發電廠，納入大甲溪發電廠旗下後全名改名為臺灣電力股份有限公司大甲溪發電廠青山分廠，是臺灣裝置容量最大的慣常水力發電廠。2004年七二水災造成廠房淹水受損嚴重，2009年展開復建工程，於2015年底完成復建工程開始重新商轉

The old power plant is gone!
The Dajiaxi Power Plant Qingshan Branch is a hydroelectric power plant located in Heping District, Taichung City, Taiwan, that is, downstream of the Dajian Canyon in the middle reaches of Dajia Stream. It is one of the branches of the Dajiaxi Power Plant series of the Taiwan Power Company. It is called Qingshan Power Plant, and its full name was changed into Dajiaxi Power Plant Qingshan Branch of Taiwan Electric Power Co., Ltd. after being incorporated into Dajiaxi Power Plant. In 2004, the July 2 flood caused serious damage to the flooding of the plant. The reconstruction project was started in 2009, and the reconstruction project was completed at the end of 2015.

原下達見發電廠於CE 1970年底更名為青山發電廠，臺8線臨37便道13.3K處，稱為青楓之地點／與日治時期之下達見發電所位置不同，僅襲名而已。
CE 1963年8月，工程定案。CE 1964年6月，美國國際開發總署核准建設下達見與林口發電廠貸款3,590萬美金，此貸款也成為美援最後1次之補助計畫。7月，下達見發電廠開工。CE 1970年10月完工，並更名青山發電廠。
Castle Peak Power Plant
The original Dajian Power Plant was renamed the Qingshan Power Plant at the end of CE 1970. The place at 13.3K near the No. 37 Road on the 8th Line is called the location of Qingfeng/It is different from the Dajian Power Plant during the Japanese Occupation.
CE August 1963, the project was finalized. CE June 1964, the United States Agency for International Development approved the construction of a loan of 35.9 million US dollars for the Jianhe Linkou Power Plant. This loan also became the last subsidy program for US aid. In July, it was ordered to see the start of the power plant. CE was completed in October 1970 and renamed Qingshan Power Plant.
